Braids

I braided my hair today.

Something I haven't done in a few years, mostly because it has been too short.

It's still short, but just long enough that it held together OK.

For some reason, it made me feel more housewife-ish and pretty.

Like a vintage mama from the '40s.

I felt more put-together.

I got more done.

And I was complimented by the hubby when he got home from work.

Maybe I'll do this more often...
