Craving Cadbury

On Easter morning:

"Ok sweetie. If you give me a really big smile I will give you {this} Cadbury Creme Egg!"

(Before church? In her new Easter dress? What was I thinking?}

"Ok mommy."

"I can hold it."

"I know, but first you've gotta give me a big smile."

"Awwwww."

"But I really want it."

"I know you do. Just give me a really big smile first!

C'mon, you're almost there!"

"Yay!"

{lots of clapping}

"That's my girl!"

{For the record, she did get to have a small bite. I'm not that crazy.}
